Addressing Our Customer’s needs!
At BudMore, Scientists, technologists and engineers join hands together to provide healthy resolutions that tackle major challenges in the aquaculture industry. We strive to develop new technologies that allow farmers to increase productivity without affecting the environment. The focus is on solving several real-world problems that affect aquaculture sectors around the globe and making the farming process noticeably better. We believe in innovation and that technologies have potential to bring drastic change to the way world looks at aquaculture now.
As the need of amount of R&D is huge, BudMore has partnered with various R&D groups and Universities across multiple countries to focus on the application of cutting-edge technologies that makes people’s lives better.
Innovation is the key to growth, and without innovation we cannot make people’s lives better!

The Plasma-Nano Revolution
Plasma technology in Aquaculture! BudMore is keen to introduce the aquaculture disinfection unit where, plasma, the most abundant state of matter is coupled with Nanotechnolgy for the creating an environment friendly disinfection reactor.
IOT in Aquaculture
IOT is already successful in tackling few of the most pressing issues in the aquaculture sector and the use of sensors or monitors is not new. However, when it comes to monitoring the marine aquaculture in remote areas, its still a challenge and BudMore Embedded team is working on that.

Publications from our researchers.
Our researchers have been striving hard to bring good quality work out to the public. Apart from the technology development, here you can access quite a few journal articles from our researches

Karthika Prasad
PhD, CMatP
Dr. Karthika Prasad works at the interface of science and engineering to tackle pressing issues in biomedical engineering and environment. She have over 5 years of experience in R&D, have worked with major industries in the biomedical field and Karthika have received various awards and industrial funding for commercialization of her R&D work. Also, her work on novel antibiotics have got media attention recently. She has currently expanded her interests to developing technologies for water purification, with specific focus on improving productivity in agriculture and reducing mortality in aquaculture farms. Her technology blends together control and automation, and plasma discharges to build next-generation aquaculture systems.

Renwu Zhou
PhD
Dr. Renwu Zhou mainly focuses on the application of low-temperature plasmas for synthesis and processing of materials for biomedical applications, and for regulatory metabolic activity of living organisms. He is working towards getting better understanding of plasma-water interactions in complex systems such as aquaculture. His research interest also emphases on plasma physics and chemistry and plasma-enabled applications in various aspects of agriculture. Dr. Renwu is one among the very few experts in Plasma-enabled applications in biology and energy conversion. To his merit, he owns around 7 invention patents and over 40 publications in plasma technology.

Janith Weerasinghe
